Christchurch Carpark Repair — Fixed Price From $480, Photo Quote in 24 Hours

Christchurch carpark repair, photo-quoted in 24 hours and backed by a 12-month warranty. Rapidpatch operates Christchurch carpark repair through a vetted partner-contractor network across Canterbury. We quote, we schedule, we own the photo report, and we back the warranty directly — even though an approved local partner executes the on-site work.

Christchurch's post-earthquake subgrade movement and clay-on-gravel mix means potholes here often signal a deeper repair than a single patch. Nor'westers, hail, and freeze-thaw cycles south of the port hills make timing and material choice matter as much as the repair itself. Our partner network covers Christchurch CBD, Riccarton, Merivale, Sumner, Lincoln, Rangiora and Kaiapoi.

Fixed price from $480. No callout fee. No hourly billing. Five-business-day booking SLA across Canterbury. Send a photo to get a real, total price back in under 24 hours.

What carparks we fix

Multi-defect bitumen and asphalt carparks across retail, body-corp residential, schools, hospitals, fleet sites, drive-thrus and back-of-house service yards. Anything where line marking, edge breakdown, raveling, or potholes have made the surface a tripping or vehicle-damage liability.

Why carparks fail

Carparks fail at the joints — kerb edges, manhole and drain surrounds, gradient-change points where water sits, and the heaviest-loaded turning circles. Most carpark contractors patch the obvious hole and ignore the failing edge two metres away. We quote the whole defect set.

Disruption minimisation

Most carparks are fixed in 2–6 hours per zone. Polymer-modified cold-mix can take traffic in under an hour; hot-mix asphalt needs 4 hours' cure. We can work after-hours, before opening, or in zoned shutdowns. The photo quote tells you exactly which option fits your operating hours.

How the photo quote works

Send 3–6 photos covering the whole carpark, plus a rough site plan or address. We return a fixed total price, a per-defect material spec (HMA / polymer-modified / standard cold-mix), a scheduled date, and a 12-month warranty. No callout fee. No hourly billing.

Pricing transparency

Single defect $480 (Tier 1). Multi-defect zones $700 (Tier 1.5) or $1,400 (Tier 2). Forecourts and yards $160–$180/m². Repaint-line option quoted separately. Warranty 12 months. Permanent HMA repairs typically last 5+ years.

Why Christchurch is different

Christchurch's post-earthquake subgrade movement and clay-on-gravel mix means potholes here often signal a deeper repair than a single patch. Nor'westers, hail, and freeze-thaw cycles south of the port hills. Material selection matters: a generic hot-mix spec from a contractor used to flatter, drier conditions won't last a Christchurch winter. Our partner network is local — they know the suburbs, the subgrade conditions, and the seasonal timing. Christchurch's network is mainly CCC but adjacent suburbs sit under Selwyn or Waimakariri — see our Christchurch pothole reporting guide for the boundary map.

How Rapidpatch's partner-contractor model works

Rapidpatch is the customer-facing brand. You send the photo, we send the quote, you accept, we schedule, we manage the photo report and the warranty. An approved partner contractor — vetted on materials, equipment, insurance, and quality standards — executes the on-site work. You pay Rapidpatch directly; the warranty is with Rapidpatch directly. The partner is paid through us. This is disclosed under the Fair Trading Act so you know who's accountable: it's us.

How to get a quote

Send a photo of the defect with a coin, shoe or anything else for scale, plus the address. If it's a carpark or larger driveway, send 3–6 photos covering the whole zone. We come back within 24 hours with a fixed total price, the recommended material tier (hot-mix asphalt / polymer-modified cold-mix / standard cold-mix), a booked date, and the 12-month warranty terms. Send via the photo-quote form or call 027 737 2858.

Frequently asked questions

Can you work after-hours so we don't close the carpark?

Yes. After-hours and pre-opening work is the default for retail and hospital sites. Specify your operating hours when you send photos and we'll price an out-of-hours window.

What about line marking after the patch?

Line marking is quoted separately so you can choose to match colour or refresh the whole bay set. We can recommend a line-marking subcontractor or coordinate it as part of the schedule.

Do you handle body-corp committee approval workflows?

Yes. The photo quote is committee-friendly — fixed total price, per-defect line items, materials specified, warranty included. Send it to your committee, get approval, then we schedule.

What if you find more damage when you're on site?

We don't change the price after the quote without your written approval. If something turns out worse than the photos showed, we stop, take more photos, and re-quote the variation. You decide.

Is there a minimum job size?

No minimum. Single-defect jobs from $480. We'd rather fix one pothole well than turn down small jobs.
